This clients remodel was focused on transforming the entirety of the homes primary living spaces. The existing formal living and dining spaces were open to each other just inside the front door. Through a doorway you entered a hall that connected the Kitchen, Laundry, and Family individually. The client’s goal was to open all of the living spaces up to each other for a completely open floor plan. To further expand the footprint of the existing kitchen, the laundry was relocated to the back of the house into an existing hall closet.

Aesthetically the clients wanted everything to be a crisp, bright white. We introduced subtle variation with light and dark greys for the walls and island, but ultimately these home was intended to be a transitional space for them for a short-term career move and prefered to make neutral design choices in favor or resale in the near future.
